Hummer!
Saturday, May 29th, 2010I saw my first hummer of the season this week. I was hanging out clothes and at first I thought a large bumble bee was headed straight for me. And then I realize it was a hummer! I was more excited than a girl looking at diamond engagement rings! I love hummers and I look forward to seeing them each spring. I usually don’t hang out a feeder but I might do that this year. Normally I rely on my petunias to draw them in. However, I would love to attract a lot of hummingbirds to my yard. I don’t have enough trumpet flowers in my yard to do that. A feeder is probably my best option.
