I am sure that if you have been reading this blog for a while you will know that I have a lot of pets. Recently I found a really neat site that is a social network for those of us with pets. Zootoo allows you to create a profile complete with your pets, their names, breeds and pictures. Of course, you also get to add your own information and picture, too. You can join groups and meet other pet owners with your same interests and breeds of pets. But really the neat thing about zootoo is you get to choose local shelters and pet rescues to help. When you create your account, you will be asked to choose a shelter and a rescue (based on your zip code) to support. Then, as you navigate the site and add photos or share new stories about pets or review products and pet services you accumulate points. From what I understand, you can allow zootoo to turn your points into cash for the groups you want to support. You can also use them to get free samples. I am still exploring this site but it looks like a great place to connect with other pet owners.
