Monday, January 28th, 2008Phase I of any good backyard bird sanctuary is research. It is well worth the time it takes to help you decide the location and the types of feeders, covers, water supply and plants are needed to attract birds to your sanctuary. You may even find that you will have to set up more than one in your yard depending on the types of birds that will frequent it. Spring is on the horizon and I know that many of us are itching to get outside and start doing! Use this time to research and plan so when the weather warms you can jump in with both feet.
